Chase Tettleton

From his early years growing up in a small Texas town, Chase Tettleton knew he wanted to be a trial lawyer, a goal he’s pursued with unwavering determination. Today, as a partner at Babcock Injury Lawyers, Chase maintains an exclusively litigation-focused practice, concentrating on personal injury cases. As a personal injury attorney in Baton Rouge, over his 15-year career, he has tried nearly one hundred trials to verdict and is a familiar face in courts throughout Louisiana. This extensive trial experience has cultivated a reputation as a formidable litigator, leading to favorable settlements from insurers who recognize his readiness to take a case to trial. Chase also has a successful appellate practice, using his courtroom knowledge to preserve or challenge trial verdicts.

Client-Centered Approach

Chase’s approach to client care is rooted in empathy, transparency, and a genuine commitment to each individual’s needs. He ensures that every client understands their case, involving them at every step of the process. “I don’t just make decisions for clients without their input,” he explains. “I want clients to know what’s going on, why it’s happening, and what to expect next.” Chase knows navigating a personal injury claim can be overwhelming, so he and his team stand ready to share the burden, allowing clients to focus on healing and rebuilding their lives.

With his dedicated team of paralegals and legal assistants, Chase maintains regular, proactive communication with clients, particularly during the early stages of their medical treatment. The team provides consistent updates, answers questions, and anticipates concerns before they arise. Clients are never left wondering about the status of their case; instead, they benefit from a partnership that emphasizes clarity, support, and empowerment. This hands-on, collaborative approach sets Chase and his team apart, ensuring every client feels heard, valued, and cared for throughout the legal journey.

Chase and his team bring an unrelenting dedication to each case. They leverage years of litigation experience, a strong reputation in court, and a deep understanding of insurance strategies to fight for maximum compensation. Whether representing a client as a Baton Rouge car accident lawyer or handling complex truck accident claims, he ensures every case receives meticulous attention. Clients benefit from working with a seasoned trial attorney who will not hesitate to take a case to court if it means achieving the justice they deserve. From initial consultations to resolution—whether through settlement or trial—Chase and his team stand by their clients, providing not just legal representation but unwavering advocacy and personalized care.

Path to Babcock Injury Lawyers

His education and early experiences shaped Chase’s path to law. After earning his B.A. in political science from Trinity University in San Antonio—where he was a varsity baseball player named to an All-Region team—he began working at the Small Business Administration’s office in San Antonio. This experience deepened his passion for advocacy and service. He later attended LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, and during a summer job at the Public Defender’s Office in Baton Rouge, he connected with Stephen Babcock. Chase found in Stephen a kindred spirit—a zealous advocate with a client-first focus. Upon earning his J.D. in 2009, he joined Babcock Injury Lawyers and became a partner in 2014.

Leadership in Law and His Community

Chase has also demonstrated a commitment to professional leadership, serving as President of the Baton Rouge Chapter of the Federal Bar Association in 2014. Beyond the office, he is dedicated to his community, serving on the East Baton Rouge Parish Alcohol Beverage Commission since 2018. He also balances his busy legal career with family life, spending most of his free time with his two sons, who are young athletes and active in the Ascension Parish Little League. Chase remains passionate about LSU sports and enjoys outdoor activities in his adopted state of Louisiana.

For Chase, the greatest satisfaction comes from witnessing his clients’ lives improve after enduring difficult and often traumatic experiences. “It’s incredibly rewarding to resolve a case—whether through settlement or trial—and remind clients of how far they’ve come since we first met,” he reflects.
