Gracie Catherine LaBorde

Gracie Catherine LaBorde is an attorney at Babcock Injury Lawyers whose passion for law began early. Standing on the steps of the Avoyelles Parish Courthouse after reading one too many John Grisham novels, young Gracie declared, “I’m going to be a lawyer one day.” Since then, she’s worked diligently to make that dream a reality, joining Babcock as a law clerk in 2023, drawn by the firm’s commitment to building close, personal relationships with clients.

Gracie graduated cum laude with her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in 2024, where she served on the Trial Advocacy Board and first-chaired numerous trial competitions. Before law school, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, graduating magna cum laude from Louisiana State University at Alexandria. During her undergraduate years, she was a collegiate cheerleader and a proud Gamma Beta Phi Honors Society member.

Gracie’s background adds a unique depth to her perspective on personal injury law, especially truck accident cases. With her father’s 30-year career in the trucking industry, she gained an early understanding of the risks and heightened responsibilities truck drivers face, fueling her dedication to holding drivers and employers accountable when accidents occur. As a Baton Rouge personal injury lawyer, she is committed to fighting for injured victims and ensuring they receive the justice they deserve, whether it be navigating a complex Baton Rouge car accident case or other aspects of personal injury law. Gracie also brings her mother’s empathy and compassion, enabling her to support clients through the physical and emotional challenges of injury recovery.

Born and raised in Marksville, Louisiana, Gracie is a fourth-generation cattle rancher whose upbringing instilled a strong work ethic and a commitment to family. Outside of her legal work, she enjoys practicing Pilates, working cattle, needlepointing, and exploring new places.
