One woman died and another suffered life-threatening injuries in a three-vehicle crash on Hilry Huckaby III Avenue in Shreveport on September 25, 2026.
Shreveport police placed the collision near Yorktown Drive and Gordonia Drive. Emergency personnel also took two other people, including a child, to a hospital with injuries police described as non-life-threatening.
The people and vehicles involved had not been identified in the initial public report. Police also had not released the time of the crash or a preliminary account of how the three vehicles collided.

KSLA reported at 4:45 p.m. that officers had closed portions of Hilry Huckaby III Avenue while Shreveport Police Department crash investigators worked at the scene.
